Meet The CT Assist Team
Charity has called Virginia home most of her life, but only recently moved to the Shenandoah Valley. Her professional experience includes over 6 years in medical office administration and patient financial services, with most of her work experience being in a hospital setting. She believes in delivering an excellent customer experience, loves the challenge of learning new things, and is dedicated to any task she is given.
Charity and her husband have two children and a mini golden doodle named Rex. If she’s not working, she’s probably spending time with her kids. Charity enjoys a good cup of coffee, browsing local farmers markets, and spending quality time with her family.

She has experience in both corporate and higher education settings and works hard to provide caring and professional service for her team, clients, and providers.
Jen was born and raised in Ohio (go Buckeyes!) and her husband and daughter are obsessed with Michigan (go Wolverines!) so sporting events in her house can be…interesting! Jen also loves Liverpool Football (YNWA!), Smith Mountain Lake, and spending time with family and friends.
Jody Byler
Recruiter - Physicians, Advanced Practice, Nursing & Allied Health
Jody is originally from Pennsylvania, came to Virginia for college and stayed! She holds a BSN and worked as an RN for 23 years in the CCU/CVICU and nursing supervisor roles. Her detailed skills in organization and planning as well as her clinical experience are tremendous assets to the CT Assist Team.
Jody enjoys cooking, gardening, running, camping, hiking, fresh air, sunshine, and exploring new places. She manages stress by loving on her dog, 2 cats, and backyard chickens (but really wants an Old McDonald style farm with many more critters running around)! She and her husband stay busy with their 3 children, which mostly involves softball, volleyball, and football.
Kristen was born on the Florida coast and raised in Virginia, instilling a deep love for both ocean and mountains. She became rooted in the Shenandoah Valley after graduating from James Madison University and discovering her love of rock climbing and mountain biking. Kristen has experience in non-profit, higher education, and entrepreneurial settings, in which she honed her skills in relationship building, collaboration, and strategic planning. She loves finding the unique gifts that each person has to offer and works hard to bring energy and creativity to any project she works on.
When she’s not in the mountains, you can find Kristen in her kitchen exploring spices and flavors of different cultures, cozied up on the couch with a cat, a coffee, and a fantasy novel, or trying (and failing) to fish for trout in local waterways.
